A trolley that has gone off the rails is observed going through the tracks. Five passengers aren’t able to stroll on railway tracks. The track is next to a lever. If you pull that lever the trolley switches to a different set tracks. The trolley will show that there are some people who have walked on the other track.
Five people die as you observe the unfolding drama. Decide to pull the lever and only one victim is killed, but by your actions.
